  • What is Caredara™?

    Caredara™ is a home care platform that connects seniors and families with certified personal support workers (PSWs), RPNs, and RNs for flexible, direct care.

  • Why is Caredara™ different?

    Caredara™ is built around flexibility, transparency, and choice. Instead of long-term contracts or fixed schedules, care is requested only when it’s needed. Practitioners control their availability, and clients get access to vetted PSWs, RPNs, and RNs in their community.

    Care is delivered in the client’s home, pricing is shown upfront, and there are no minimum hours or ongoing commitments. This model helps families respond to changing care needs while supporting fair pay and autonomy for practitioners.

  • How do I sign up?

    Clients and practitioners can sign up at Join the Pilot – make the Join the Pilot link to https://caredara.com/pilot.php or by downloading the Caredara™ app.

  • Where is Caredara™ available?

  • Are there contracts or minimum hours?

    No. Caredara™ does not require long-term contracts or minimum hours. Care is booked on an as-needed basis, so you can request support only when you need it.

    Each visit is scheduled individually, and pricing is clearly shown before you confirm a booking.

  • What if I don’t like the service I receive through Caredara™?

    If you’re not satisfied with a visit, please contact Caredara™ as soon as possible. We take feedback seriously and will review the situation to understand what happened. Where appropriate, we can help arrange future visits with a different practitioner or adjust care details to better meet your needs.

     

    You are not committed to continue using Caredara™, and there are no long-term contracts or obligations.

  • Why does Caredara™ take a transparency approach?

    Caredara™ believes that both clients and practitioners deserve clarity and fairness. Transparency ensures everyone knows what to expect—what services are being provided, how much clients are paying, and how much practitioners are earning.

     

    By being upfront about pricing, fees, and expectations, we help build trust, reduce surprises, and support better care experiences for families while respecting the value and professionalism of practitioners.

Clients – Using Caredara™

  • How do I book a practitioner?

    After signing up and completing a short intake, you can view available practitioners and book directly through the app.

  • Can I choose the same practitioner again?

    You can request to continue with the same practitioner for future visits. While clients do not directly choose their caregiver, Caredara™ will make every effort to match you with your preferred practitioner for subsequent bookings, subject to availability.

     

    If your preferred practitioner is not available at the requested time, another qualified practitioner will be assigned to ensure care needs are met.

  • How do payments work?

    Payments are made securely through the app after each completed visit.

  • What if I need to cancel?

    You can cancel up to 4 hours before a visit for a full refund or credit. See our Refund and Credit Policy for details.

  • How much does Caredara™ cost?

    Caredara™ is a private, fee-for-service home care platform. The cost depends on the type of care you request and the practitioner you choose. Pricing is based on an hourly rate that includes the practitioner’s fee plus Caredara’s™ platform and processing fees.

     

    For example, typical rates shown on the Caredara™ pricing page include:

     

    Personal Support Worker (PSW) — hourly rate with total client cost in the range shown on the pricing page

     

    Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) — higher hourly rate

     

    Registered Nurse (RN) — highest hourly rate

    Clients pay securely through the Caredara™ platform after each visit, and fees are disclosed before booking. 

  • Why should I rate practitioners after the service?

    Your feedback helps us maintain high-quality care. Ratings allow us to monitor service quality and address any issues quickly. They also help us identify areas where practitioners may benefit from additional training or support, which helps improve care over time.

     

    Your input plays an important role in making sure Caredara™ continues to meet the needs of clients and families.

Practitioners – Working with Caredara™

  • How do I become a Caredara™ practitioner?

    Submit your application through the app or website and provide ID, certification, and proof of insurance.

  • How do I get paid?

    Payouts are processed between 48 and 72 hours. You can view your earnings history and commission deductions in your dashboard.

  • What if a client doesn’t show up?

    Mark the appointment as a no-show in the app. You may be eligible for partial compensation depending on the timing.

  • Why do I have to choose my availability?

    Caredara™ is not a shift-assignment platform. You’re never required to accept work or commit to fixed schedules.

     

    The availability you choose each week determines when you may receive booking requests. Some time blocks have higher demand than others.

     

    Practitioners who offer availability during high-need periods tend to receive bookings faster.

  • How do bookings work on Caredara™?

    Once you’re approved, you choose the days and times you’re available each week.

     

    Bookings are offered based on where care is needed most. Some time slots fill faster than others depending on client demand in your area.

     

    If your availability doesn’t immediately receive bookings, it doesn’t mean there’s a problem—it usually means demand is higher in different time windows.

     

    We’ll share insights over time to help you choose availability that leads to more consistent work.

  • What if I find a job in a hospital or long-term care (LTC) home while working with Caredara™?

    Take it. Your career comes first.

     

    Caredara™ is designed to give you flexibility, not restrict your opportunities. If you accept a position in a hospital or LTC setting, you’re welcome to continue using Caredara™ to supplement your income if and when it works for you. There are no exclusivity requirements or long-term commitments—it’s always your choice.

RN Assessments and Care Planning

  • What is an RN care assessment?

    If a client has not had a formal care assessment in the last 12 months, an RN will complete an evaluation to determine care needs.

  • Is the RN visit in person or virtual?

    It depends on the client’s preference. Assessment may be done virtually upon request.

  • How much does an RN care assessment cost?

    An RN care assessment typically takes about one hour. The cost is based on Caredara’s standard RN rate and fees:

     

    RN care cost: $59.00

     

    15% administration fee: $8.85

     

    4% processing fee: $2.36

     

    Total cost: $70.21

     

    All costs are shown clearly before you confirm the booking.
